WOMEN BUYING REAL ESTATE
Women are buying more real estate in BC than ever before.
In the most recent Realtor survey in Victoria, February 2011, single males accounted for 13.5% of all real estate transactions while 22.7% were single females!
Quite a change from even 5 years ago.
I've worked with many single ladies over the years, young and older, and I've found, many prefer to work with a woman.
I assume because, as a 'mature' woman myself, I can relate to similair life experiences. Many women haven't had to seek information about financing property, how to get a mortgage, home insurance, home inspections, etc.
In many cases, their spouse handled all these things or for the younger ladies, it's a first time, overwhelming experience.
I try to make the entire process fun!
At least as painless as possible.
My sellers put my experience to work for them and leave it to me to get all the details completed and get their home sold.
For the buyers I work with, everyone is different, and I listen to what you need to help you painlessly through it all.
